Hydroforming

Hydroforming is a cost-effective way of shaping malleable metals such as aluminum into lightweight, structurally sound pieces. This process allows complex shapes with concavities to be formed, which would be difficult or impossible with standard solid die stamping. Hydroformed parts can often be made with a higher stiffness to weight ratio and at a lower per unit cost than traditional stamped or stamped and welded parts. Combining hydroforming with our heat treat facility puts AFG in an elite class fabricators.

Brake Form, Roll Form, and Hot Joggle

No fabrication facility would be complete without these basic, but necessary capabilities.  At AFG, we simply use more advanced CNC controlled and cost effective equipment.

Waterjet Cutting

Our abrasive waterjet cutting machinery is equipped with nesting software that gives us the ability to group several part numbers together for optimum material utilization. The powerful cutting system allows an extremely precise cut through virtually any type of material ranging from 0.010” to 3.00” thick.
