BRONZE LEVEL Preferred Supplier -
The Boeing Company has officially
certified AFG as a Bronze Level Supplier. Of the approximately 20,000 companies that supply Boeing
with components for their aircraft and spacecraft, AFG is in a special Preferred Supplier group
of approximately only 700 companies.
Boeing 100th C-17 Celebration -
In October 2002, Boeing delivered the 100th
C-17 aircraft to
the United States Air Force. AFG is a preferred supplier for the C-17 program and was one of twenty-four suppliers selected by Boeing to
host a celebration at its facility. The celebration at the AFG facility took place on Tuesday, May 14th. Some attendees included:
U.S. House Representative (now U.S. Senator) Saxby Chambliss, Georgia Senator Nathan Dean, Dewey Pendley Hiram Mayor and

Mastercam Version X2
The Technical Services department at AFG uses Mastercam X2 with Solids for all computer modeling and CNC Programming tasks. That means more manufacturing power than ever before, especially in the 5 axis department. Click the two images below to learn even more about this powerful CAD/CAM software. Mastercam is the most widely used CAM software in the world.
Fully Operational Heat Treat Facility -
AFG is now offering full Heat Treat services to new and existing customers. The heat treat facility is separate from AFG's main manufacturing facility but is only minutes away. The equipment is fully computer controlled and automated and qualifies as one of the most state-of-the-art heat treat systems in the world. The system control was custom-built by company CEO Adam Grizzle. The services offered will include heat age, anneal, 'O'-'W'-'T' condition treatment and check and straighten services for all types of materials. The facility is currently fully operational and has passed GAC certification. Different industries require different levels of certifications.
